What WiFi Means to a 5-year-old

13 July 2013, Saturday

10:37am. A4 playing with Daddy’s iPad. She is housekeeping, deleting old games so that Daddy will allow her to download new Ponyville games. She understands that she can only delete apps from her section. Then she verified with Daddy that there is WiFi.

I asked A4 if she knew what wifi meant. She said yes, and elaborated that she hears the others (her three older siblings) talk about it so she knows.

Then we asked her what is WiFi. To which she replied, “If there is WiFi, it means I can play Ponyville; if there is no WiFi, it means I cannot play Ponyville.”

So there, WiFi = access to Ponyville.
