A1 received her Primary School Leaving Exam results yesterday. Keeping his side of the bargain, S went out this morning to get her her iPhone 5s for achieving an A for Maths.
A1, of course, couldn’t wait for Daddy to come home.
A4, too, couldn’t wait for Daddy to come home. But for a different reason.
The moment S walked through the main door, A1 rushed forward immediately to greet … her new phone.
With lightning-speed reflex, A4 rushed forward immediately after A1 and gushed, “So, can I now have your phone, jie jie?” (“Jie jie” is “big sister” in Chinese dialect) The very-aware A4 knew she was next in line to inherit the next decommissioned iPhone in the family!
